Aileen is the daughter of the legendary Al Wilson and a native Californian. Among her numerous professional credits are appearances on Soul Train, Lou Grant, The Jeffersons, Little House on the Prairie, Different Strokes, and The Young and the Restless. Aileen also starred opposite Janet Jackson in the musical entitled, God Bless the Child and appeared as LeVar Burton's daughter in the movie of the week, Battered. Aileen and her husband, Samuel J. Harris, have relocated their music company, SPRIRAL 8 & WING 9 MUSIC COMPANY, to Youngstown. Their credits include Beacon of Hope, the Youngstown City School Board's theme song.

Kim can no longer remember all of the shows she's appeared in over the last 30 years, but she is sure they have all been improved by her presence. Licensed by the state to engage in legal mayhem, she is currently juggling her options while working as a hostage negotiator, event planner and lobbyist for the underprivileged wealthy. The only thing true in this biography is that she is happily married to the best human on the planet.

A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Keith is an accomplished singer. He opened for “Gerald Levert” El Debarge, appeared in a national Crest Toothpaste commercial, attended the New York School for the Arts and signed with independent label, “Gotta Flo Records.” A member of Victory Christian Center, Keith appeared in their productions of Journey to the Manger and The Gospel According to Scrooge. Keith is the CEO of the production company, FlyLyfe Entertainment. Truly committed to the arts, Keith has dedicated most of his life to music and theatre.

Rev. Lewis Macklin serves as the pastor of Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church and is an active community servant. He received Best Play Award for his direction of Terrance McNally's Next in senior competition. The Fabric of a Man marks his return to the stage. His last appearance was as Lucien P. Smith in the Oakland's production of Boys Next Door. A graduate of YSU and currently a doctoral candidate, he enjoys traveling and reading in his spare time. Lewis and his wife, Dorothy, share the love and legacy of four children and a grandson.

Born and raised in Youngstown, Byron served 8 years as an Army Engineer for which we thank him for his years of service. A member of Holy Trinity Baptist Church, Byron serves as Associate Minister. He is a member of “ACTION”, where he serves as Coordinator of Training and Recruitment. Byron is a member of the VFW, NAACP and the Buckeye Lodge, where he volunteers with the Revitalization of the Youth Center. He and his lovely wife of 11 years, Maureen, have 3 children.

Karen is a gifted soloist, musician, director, songwriter and playwright. Without any formal training in music or scripting, she has penned many songs. Her song, “In my Song” was presented at the Gospel Music Workshop of America in Philadelphia. She also wrote and directed the stage play, Pastels. The Fabric of a Man marks Karen's debut at The Playhouse. She is very excited to be a part of this wonderful production.

Jere B is the founder, chairman and chief visionary officer of Tajai. Ltd., a multimedia production company. He is also a composer, producer and musician. His award winning band, SounDoctrine has released four critically acclaimed CDs and a DVD. Jere B also spent eight years as Senior Producer & Director of the Dan Ryan Talk Show on WKBN Radio and served as the morning gospel announcer for Radio 1500 WGFT-AM. He appeared in the movie Greater Threat and in the film short, Magnify by Art Byrd. A follower of Jesus Christ, Jere's goal is to exemplify Christ and live a life of integrity while mentoring young people toward success. He is happily married to his sweetheart, Lori. They have three beautiful daughters.

Johnny was last seen on the Playhouse stage as Lovin' Al in our production of Working. Johnny's other Playhouse roles include Walter Lee Younger in Raisin, Axel in The Nerd, the voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors (Arthur Award) and Joe in Showboat (Arthur Award.) Johnny was last seen on stage as Hoke in the Oakland Center for the Arts production of Driving Miss Daisy, for which he won a YACTA Award. A colon cancer survivor, Johnny is an advocate for Colonoscopy screening, which saved his life. Johnny is a wedding planner and is the owner/operator of Simple Elegance. Johnny wants to thank the staff of the Playhouse as well as his fellow members of the Playhouse Board of Directors for all of their support.

Stephanie received her Master's degree in Social Work in May 2009 and her LSW in July of 2009. She is employed at Dr. Nalluri's office where she is a psychotherapist. She acted as assistant stage manager for Dracula and recently operated the light board for Miracle on 34th Street at the playhouse. Stephanie has run the light board for many Oakland productions; the most recent of which being RENT, School Edition. In March of 2009, she was the stage manager of the Marquee award-winning Driving Miss Daisy and was onstage only once as a zombie in Night of the Living Dead. Stephanie would also like to thank her mother, Karen, for all of the help she has provided during this well-tailored production.
